Witnessed misuse on Sat...

I was sitting in my hubbys truck with my 17 month dd waiting for my 7 year olds football game to begin (it was hot we had the ac on)
There was a nice new Nissan Quest next to us, the people came over and opened the rear door facing us and the seat next to it had a pretty old looking Graco combo booster in it. The latch straps were wrapped around the back of the vehicle seat back, I am assuming they were attached to each other behind it holding the seat in place. (guess its too hard to find the latch anchors) Then they put what appeared to be a 3-4 year old girl in the seat, buckled her in, then put the seat belt across her (very loosely) without putting it into the belt guide so it was across her neck.
Wow!!

OMG! How could you think that was safe? I mean come on people! How hard is it to read the manual, install & USE the seat properly?? Not that hard!

wow. They can afford a nice new car with all the bells and whistles, and not care enought to buy there daughert a newer seat. But not only that, she is double buckeld and the latch attaches to it self. Do they think the side curtain air bags will save her if the harness and seatbelt don't?!?!
