I received my Autoclub magazine this week and, of course, I had to stop skimming and actually read when I saw the article on car seats. It was very short but had some good things said in it (and the picture was a 3 year old in a FF seat with the harness straps properly above his shoulders with the chest clip in the right place and the straps tight!). Here are the points they made:
1. Always read the installation instructions
2. Select the most appropriate child safety seat (one that fits your child and vehicle)
3. Buckle up children for every ride
4. Place your child in a rear facing safety seat until they reach the maximum weight and height limits for the seat. (No mention about 1 and 20!!!!!!!!)
I just wish they would have included a statement about a convertible seat after an infant carrier.
But, overall, nice short, and appropriate article.
