I turned my 2 yo FF today. He's about a pound from the RF weight limit and I don't want to obsess about weighing him. Anyway, I got him all buckled in and asked him if he liked it. He said "Yeah, I backwards!" LOL!!

Then as we were driving he kept saying funny things such as:
"Mommy, we're going fast"
"Mommy, go faster"
"Mommy, i see the cars"

And he kept asking me what certain things in the car were- things that he is now facing. It's funny, I turned my girls at a year because I didn't know any better, but now that I have been educated I feel like HE's too little to be FF at two. So sad. :(

 good job for keeping him RF this long!

That's so cute that he said he was backwards(my ds said the same thing).
Just wait until he starts telling you to watch out for that big truck or that car or the bus...DS is bad for that when we're on small roads with one lane each direction lol

That's exactly what my dd said too - and she said it every time for the first couple weeks, then periodically for at least 6months after that. :p

Good for you for keeping him rf'ing this long. :D

It's a bittersweet transition, isn't it? The backseat driving of the newly FF is so cute and at times a bit of a pain. My FF 3 year old comments mostly about stop signs lately, or to tell her big sister to be quiet because "Mama's driving."

When dh got home I was leaving with the girls for gymnastics. Ds said "Look Daddy, my seat's upside down!" :ROTFLMAO:

I'm sure the novelty of being FF will keep us all quite entertained for a while.
