How to gurantee the newest DOM?

Okay IM buying two radians and Im looking for sales and/or free shipping but I want to make sure I get the newest date of manufacturing. Anyone know how I can make sure this happens?

Beyond shopping in person, I would think that shopping at a retailer that sells a high volume of that model of car seat is key, as their inventory will be turning over faster.

Many carseats have the DOM on the labeling on the outside of the box, but not the Radian, making it hard to determine the DOM before buying a Radian. :( Most retailers aren't going to be happy about opening up sealed boxes to look at the DOM label on the seat itself. On a brighter note, the Radian has an 8 year expiration from the DOM so it's not necessarily the end of the world if it's not a super recent DOM, especially if it's on sale. :)

The only way to really ensure that you are getting a good DOM is to go to the store yourself.

Otherwise its all a mystery until that box shows up on your porch.
