I returned my family friend's Scenera today, with a new thick harness that won't rip or tear on the pesky spikes. I told her about ERFing her 19 month old, 23 pound daughter, and she readily agreed to it ... I was very surprised. I thought she'd be against it because she'd had such a hard time getting the Scenera in tightly. Anyways, while I was explaining the benefits of ERFing to her, her neighbor was listening, and asked me right away if I would help her flip her son's seat. He is 2 years old, and 29 pounds, but has been 29 pounds for 6 months. I of course told her yes, but when we got to his seat, he has one of those Summit forward-facing only seats. So, what seat would you recommend for a 29 pound 2 year old? I recommended the NEW Alpha Omega, the Evenflo Triumph Advance, and the True Fit, but I feel like there is a cheaper option I am forgetting about. They just bought the Summit seat about 5 months ago, so they don't want to spend too much on a new seat for 6 pounds. I suggested selling the Summit seat, since it makes a crappy booster and has low top slots, and just getting a seat that will last a long time. I know she's not shelling out the money on a Britax or Recaro, and I don't think the Radian will work for them (she and her husband are very tall). Anything I'm missing?
