Anyone using non-Canadian covers for Canadian seats?

I'm soooo tempted by the Brooke MA cover for sale.... I'd love to get girly MA cover(s) and RN cover(s).

Technically, is that even a concern if the seats themselves are Canadian? Allport, anyone else????

FWIW, I'm in BC.

Yes, I use covers made for US seats on my Canadian seats. The Marathon, Radians, EFTA, and Scenera.

The covers are the same except for the tags that get put on them.

In general the only difference is that the Canadian ones have the warning on them in French and English.

I say in general because I do own some Marathon covers that have French and Spanish on them as well as English and the US cover for the EFTA has the airbag warning on it whereas the Canadian EFTA cover does not.

I will with the Ashley Floral I got as a replacement sent directly from Britax. It has only English on the 'warning' tag instead of the normal Eng/Fr one for Canada. I personally do not see an issue as it is a Britax cover and the seat is Canadian.

:happy-wavehello: Me too. SKJP sent me an American Radian cover to replace my Canadian one. It also does not have French like my original did.

The Ashley Floral that Britax sent to me directly when I was in Edmonton this summer is the American version (I still have no clue why they didn't send a Cdn version). It's labeled in both English and Spanish, and I doubt anyone noticed besides me when we were driving around Alberta with it this past July.

I have a couple of american covers (one I traded for, the other Britax sent as a replacement). I don't see a problem with it. If I were to sell a seat (not likely) I'd make sure it had a Canadian cover for the french warnings.

Thanks! :)

I just ordered a Brooke MA cover for DD#2. Of course, DD#1 now wants a pink cover too. But, I can't post ISO on swap for a year (!). Oh well. I told DD#1 that she's gonna get a new seat and showed her the Nautilus that she remembered trying at Target. She's jazzed about the cupholder, LOL.

If anyone hears about a pink RN cover in EUC/new, let me know! :)

I just got a Neopolitan cover for one of my Marathons off of ebay. I was hesitant because someone told me it wasn't allowed, but it's a Britax cover for a Britax seat so I went for it. The seat still has the important stickers on it.

Yes, I do.

I have an Olivia cover and a Neopolitan cover both from the US. I feel completely comfortable using them. :twocents:

I also have a US Radian cover (Princess) that SK sent me.
