Will an Uptown cover fit an Avenue?

Anyone know? They look the same to me in the seating area. I'm thinking I'm going to replace the Uptowns w/ Avenues (I want a pink backup seat, lol), but I would love to have at least one backup cover if needed. Yes, I know it wouldn't necessarily by 'kosher', but I'm o.k. w/ that if needed in an emergency.

I haven't had a chance to examine my Uptown, but I think the Avenue cover might not fit. The cover on the Avenue I looked at has elastic straps like the Scenera, so I'm not sure if there would be a place on the Uptown to put the elastic straps.

Here is a picture of the straps at the top. I know there are some on the very bottom, they made a weird cutout in the bottom of the Avenue to hold them. I don't remember off hand how many others there were, but I'm planning to go back to K-Mart sometime to check it out.

Ok, I just re-read your title, and I went through the opposite of what you are looking for, sorry. :eek:

So, in that case, I would say that the Uptown cover would probably fit. I don't think the changes in the shell would affect where the Uptown cover sits.

Here is a pic of the Avenue with the top of the cover pulled back, the foam and the rest of the seating area looked the same to me.
