I was at work last night when a lady and her mother asked me about booster seats. I see a little one sitting in the shopping cart. I ask who are we shopping for? She say her in the cart. I ask how old she is and the women says 15mts and she weighs 21lb. and is 31 inches tall. I tell her I think dc is to young to sit in a booster and stress she should be rf. She goes on to tell me she was at her peds office and he told the mother to turn her ff. Get this because she's tall. The mother did read that the AOP recommends 35rf to the weight of the seat. But he told her no. I can believe that. I said he is wrong. Keep her rf. I'm happy to say I told her how much safer 5 times safer rf. They bought 2 EFTA and will keep her RF. I'm just angry that a mother who wanted to do the right thing was told by her dc doctor not to. My son is 30.5 inches tall and just turned one 21lb. I guess he would say he was to tall too. I was so busy I didn't ask what her Peds name was. I never asked at my dc one year vistit and they didn't mention it. Just thought I would share. GRR!
