The center I used to volunteer at has a 4 week parenting class. #3 is when they cover carseat safety. I e-mailed today just randomly to see if they covered it and if they would like help etc. She e-mailed back and said yes! I'm so excited, but nervous too. I don't have a clue what to do. lol I think I'm just going to show the video that the office of highway safety has, it's very thorough and about 20mins long. It has some handouts to go w/ it and then I think I'll cover state law and have some pamphlets etc. I'll take my Scenera in too and my old infant carrier (no cover, it looks bad, but it'll work). These are mostly lower class, single moms, so the Scenera will be my reccomendation and I will be able to get them seats more than likely as well if they need a new one (as opposed to expired and used ). Any ideas? Anyone does one of these short presentations before? I need to re-watch the video to see if there is anything missing or anything I want to expound on, but I remember it covering it all. Then I'll take questions.
