Something I love about this forum

It's great that we have this site for it's informational resource & spreading awareness to parents....

Even more than that, today I realized that this is one of the ONLY forums I've been a long time member in that has had little to no insane judgmental attitudes causing frequent disturbing "blow outs"

I love that everyone here has the ability to converse with civility even when things are extremely confusing & frustrating

For that, I just want to say THANK YOU

I totally agree! I have noticed the only 'drama' this site seems to have is those stupid spammers(did you see them the other night??)

Hugs back at you, too.

I've seen other parenting related forums turn into huge overblown flame fests, etc. but things remain pretty even keeled here in my experience as a longtime lurker who recently registered. And many thanks to the Admin folks for keeping annoying spammers from being disruptive.

Sadly, the spammers will be around as long as the forum remains open to questions from people who have not registered. I'm looking into some added safeguards, but there isn't much that would be effective other than requiring registration for all posting.

And hey, don't forget all the custom features you don't get on generic forums, not to mention the complete lack of pop-ups and advertisements

I like the absence of drama here, very comforting. So many boards seem to thrive on drama...ick!
And yes..I love that we have no ads/pop-ups.

I cant say much about the lack of drama here

But i do think this is a great forum. Full of caring members who give good advice without being condescending or rude. (Darren is also an awesome mod, out of all the forums i'm a member of this is the only one that has a mod who is in control of the spammer issues! I think Darren should get his very own hug for that)

I havent had time to sign on in a few days what happened the other day with spammers?
