Regent Question

I cannot remember for the life of me what the rule is so I know someone on here will help. The Regent has those huge holes as harness slots. Can the child's shoulders be anywhere within those holes height wise or do they have to be at the bottom of the hole or else be moved up to the next slot? Does that make sense?

This is my age old question, in which I have gotten mixed answers for. But I did speak to a Britax rep at a store this past weekend who is supposed to be e-mailing me the answer to that after he finds out. So we will see.
But until then I would keep you DC under the lower part of the shell slot.

I go by wherever the harness strap falls within the slot, which for the regent is the lower end of the slot. I don't know if it is the official answer, but it just makes sense to me to do it that way. The harness straps are pulled down to the bottom of the harness slot. Just because there is 1" of space between the bottom of the slot to the top of the slot isn't going to change where the harness hits my daughter's shoulders. I don't want my daughter having any spinal compression during an accident, which is what I could see happening if I allowed my daughter to continue using the seat until the top of the slot is reached.
