..... I think ...... but not sure if he's using the shoulder belt properly 100% of the time. Any suggestions for us? He is 4ft 9" and 100 lbs. Actually, I'm going to have him weighed again b/c for all i know he could be more now. He's not a fat kid, just very husky, Solid as a rock. I'm just wondering if there are others on the board who have ever been in a similar situation, having a big kid. What is the BIGGEST booster with the largest capacity?
Thanks in advance for any information!

My daughter's older half brother passed the 5 Step Test at an abnormally young age & by the time he was in middle school he was over 5' tall, about 130+ pounds wearing men's sizes 11-13 shoes :dizzy:

The largest highback booster is the Sunshine Kids Monterey: 120# weight limit & 20" top shoulder belt guide position.... If he doesn't fit it as a highback, but he does pass the 5 Step Test then he doesn't need it as a low back (backless doesn't provide any side impact protection, but does pose the risk of increasing head excursion).

Have you read this article post that explains the 5 Step Test, etc.? This other article may also be helpful :)
