Which car seat has the most leg room rf'ing?

I mean straight out, touching the back seat legroom. I'm curious for future reference because DD's tone is changing and she's becoming more spastic in her legs. It's not an issue yet, but I imagine it could be in the future. And I've also been hearing complaints from other parents of CP kids who are having trouble keeping them rf'ing. I'd like to be able to make suggestions to people.

I remember seeing the evenflo tribute and thinking "Wow, that's a deep seat!" but I don't know how it compares to others. It certainly has more legroom than our diplomat!

What are your experiences? :D Maybe there's a chart with these measurements?

LOL, dh just looked at them side by side and couldn't tell they were both Leah at the same age, and was certain the legs were hanging off the Roundabout much more than the Radian

I can take comparison pics later, but our Radian has *TONS* more room than the Boulevard. it also depends on the type of vehicle too--DS had tons more room in the HOnda and Buick than in our Durango because of the angle of the vehicle seat. But overall, the Radian has always had more room and I'm considering switching b/c DS has actually started whining in his seat. Just waiting for DS2 to gain a tad more torso height for a better fit in the BV ;)

LMK if you'd like pics :)

I think the TF has a good amount of RFing room. I don't have it with me but I can take pics of DS in it when I get home.

Ya, I would say the radian has the most...but we should get some measurements, good idea! I can tell you that the signo probably has the least amout of leg while rf :p

For us in our old Sedan (04 impala) the Radian had the most room, Signo the least. I would say in that car it was Radian, then True Fit, then EFTA, then Britax 65 lb seats in order from most to least leg room

For our new van where the seats can be reclined slightly (and actually have to be with LATCH) there is a lot more leg room. For that car I would say True Fit easily has the most, then Radian, then EFTA, then Britax seats

I think the Radian and True Fit offer the most in my experience, but I am not sure about the amount of head support you would need. The Radian and True Fit don't offer a whole lot (my 3 year old can barely reach her head to the side)

The EFTA has TONS of legroom for my 22 month old. He has fairly long legs as he has a very short little torso! Here is a picture of his legs in the MA & the EFTA for comparison. These were taken yesterday at 22 months, 26lbs with a 12 inch torso!

I'd love to see a chart. That's a great idea. Only problem is that it is so dependent on the individual child. Mine have both RF in the MA and I have never had an issue or heard one word of complaint from either of them. They both found their own method of comfort while RF.

Kaylie is extremely long legged and she would typically just cross her legs. Teagan is not as leggy, but she prefers to either scrunch them up and lean her book on them or put one foot on either side of the actual car seat.

Yeah, kinda depends on the car, too... Bitsy was like an accordion in the MA RF in our old Prius/Echo, and had to be FF at 3 (and I bet the Radian wouldn't have fit at all behind us RF!), but was chilled out and stretched out till 4.5 in the Odyssey.

And not that you'd buy this seat, but I took out my BV to mail it to Britax and put in our spare seat-- Graco ComfortSport. It has TONS more leg room than the BV, lol!!
