Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Wendy, I'm 28 and mom to a great 3.5 year old. In June I'm going to be taking my CPS certification, and I'm so excited it's nearly nerdy. LOL
My daughter came home from the birthing center RFing in a Britax Advantage and was in that until we were rear ended and replaced both seats with the insurance money and upgraded to Britax Wizards. She was RFing in the Wizards until she was 2.5, then we all decided to turn her. She's been FFing for a year now. We also have a Sunshine Kids Radian that we use for air travel (SO much easier than lugging her Wizard around the airport). I have no current plans to move her to a booster seat. In a couple of years I'll get a car that has a back center should belt (driving a 2001 Nissan Xterra now with a middle lap belt only) and then maybe when she's five or six we'll move her. She's so little if her height allows she may just go to 8 years old in her Wizard (8 or 80 is the law here in NC), though I'll probably move her to a booster for her sixth birthday (whatever the Britax Parkway is called in two years) and keep her in that until she passes the five point test for the seat.
Anyway, just wanted to wave hi from my little corner of the world. I'm so happy to be on my way to becoming a CPS tech.
