WY state law says:
all children age 8 and under and weighing 80 pounds or less ride in a federally approved car seat or booster seat that is appropriate for the child's age, height and weight. Wyoming law also requires children ride in a rear seat if the vehicle has rear seats.
So please tell me that there R no backless boosters on the market that are "appropriate for the child's age, height and weight" of 2yrs 2 mons old, about 35-36" and about 27-28lbs. Some friends of ours R visiting from WY and I noticed they had a backless booster for their 2 yr old. I KNOW that is completely dangerous, there is no way a 2 yr old is able to sit correctly in a booster, even if they were big enuf 4 one. But I wanted to make sure b4 I talk to the parents that it is also illegal, not just dangerous. TIA, they leave 2morow 4 another road trip.
