Question 3 car seats in a PT Cruiser

I have an 06 PT Cruiser and I am needing to fit 3 car seats in the back seat. I have a 4 year old in a booster and a 3 year old in a convertable. I will have a 9 month old in a convertable (RF). Any suggestions that won't cause me to have to go out and buy 3 new seats. My 4yo is in a graco turbo, my 3yo is in a evenflo chase. I don't have the 3rd seat yet.

I only have 46 inches of clearance....I need to fit all 3 kids in the car so I can take the 4yo to and from school. I wasn't wanting to invest hundreds because the 9 month old is not my child (I will start baby sitting him next week).

I don't know much about car seats. If my 4yo switched to a harness seat could I put her in the front seat with the air bags off? What are my best options for saftey and comfort?

One of my girlfriends has 3 in her PT. Her 5 YOs (twins) are harnessed in Radians and her 7 YO is in a Parkway or backless booster, depending on what other cars he has been riding in. So, it is possible to do, not just sure about with your current seats. Someone else will probably come along that know more about your seats. I would look into a Radian for your 4YO though instead of the booster. Maybe with it in the center you could fit the evenflo on one side and then see what seat the 9 MO has with his parents. Or let the 9 MO use the Radian and your son use it when he isn't there if you are comfortable moving seats around.
