1997 Chevy Venture

A new mama cyber-friend of mine doesn't have her vehicle manual ... I'm giving her Chevy's contact info to request a replacement copy, but in the meantime does anyone know for sure that the middle row center position is OK for her to install a carseat? I'm guessing it is, but I'd like to know if anyone has actually confirmed this :) THANKS

We had a 97 Venture for a brief time period and the manual gave instructions for installing car seats in all passenger positions in all the different configurations you could have. So yes, it's OK. We had a two-seater bench in the second row, and I had my daughter's Advantage installed rear-facing on the passenger side which was really in the center. It installed fine, but it is a pain for third row passengers to get in and out.

Thanks.... I know I've seen seats there, but didn't know if there was any "hidden" nono about it (thinking of my rear-center Blazer issue *UGH*) Anyway, she's hoping to have her new manual in time for her CPST appointment -- just wanted to be able to reassure her that in the meantime it's OK :)
