Why not just print up the printable brochures from www.cpsafety.com or www.carseat.org? A lot easier than reinventing the wheel

I plan on it for some of them, but others-especially the expired car seats-I need pics of them the most

There are indeed a *lot* of wonderful, relevant printables available online.... A doctor's office is also more likely to accept & promote something created by the AAP or NHTSA or a certified CPST :twocents:

Simply explaining the fact that carseats specify the expiration date in the manual and/or on the stickers should be sufficient. It's the *why* carseats expire that can be difficult for some to understand or accept.

Having photos of expired carseats isn't really going to be helpful. Carseats expire every day. Having the most recent "expirees" isn't going to do any good, especially since you can't always tell, from a photo, whether a seat is expired or not.
If you need a photo of an expiration date, take a photo of the back of one of your seats. The date is often stamped into the plastic.
