Well, thing is...she is more of an acquaintance and I never really talk to her, so I'm not sure what to do!

email her .. She may be greatful. Just be polite. Dont make her feel like a bad mom. I always mention I made mistakes before and was glad when people told me. I have NEVER had anyone take offense.

is it possible it's just the tail end of the LATCH adjuster strap not attached to anything?

Well, if I were her, I wouldn't be mad if you pointed out misuse, but I would be VERY angry if if I were pointed to here and found a thread w/ my child's pic posted in it!

doubtful. The Scenera LATCH straps are similar in width and texture to the harness.

same here. It's poor form to post pictures of someone's child without her permission.

I agree with you, and that is why I cut out the child's face.
