Do you think it's OK to purchase a car seat from ebay. It states that it is new and still in the box. The seller seems to sell overstock merchandise.

From a random individual? No, never.
From an actual retailer or a CPST? & can this be verified? Well, sure, but only if it's a seat that I couldn't possibly otherwise afford or find + is absolutely necessary -- ex: high weight harness for young/immature child who cannot use a booster correctly....
I don't like the idea of buying from ebay for the fact that if I end up finding something about the seat I don't like or trust, there's no return/exchange option :twocents: Buyer beware & all that (not my cup o' tea when it's my kid's life at risk)

I was going back and forth...I think I just needed someone to confirm it for me (i.e hit me over the head!!). It's not worth saving a few bucks. Thanks!!
