Opinions on a few different seats....

Okay, we are getting seats replaced after a wreck.

DS5 is 42 lb and 42 inches (funny how that worked out lol). Anyways, we are thinking Britax Frontier. I refuse to put him in a booster until he is too tall or too heavy for any of the seats with a harness. I did try him in a Britax Regent at BRU but decided against that because I like the SIP in the Frontier. Are they the same size? Roughly? Anyways, is this a good option for him?

DD3 is *about* 24-25 lb and I have no idea on height but shes short. She was not even on the chart for height until about a year ago. She is currently in a Britax Blvd and I was thinking to just replace the Blvd with another Blvd. Shes growing slowly and when I placed her in a Britax Regent, it swallowed her whole LOLOL. Is there another seat out there that is better for her or would the Blvd be the best bet?

DS2 is *about* 22 lb and is an inch or 2 shorter than DD3. He still fits in a Roundabout. We are thinking of a Ricaro Signo or another Blvd? Not sure which is best. I've seen mixed reviews or the Signo. DH likes the Recaro best because of the brand and their reputation for racing seats. Which would be best for him? He's a little guy.

DS6month is 19.4 lb and Im not sure how long but hes of average height. (I haven't measured him since birth LOL). Anyways, he is in a Orbit Baby Toddler Seat and I'm just going to replace it with an Orbit Baby Toddler Seat.

Any info or comments or anything is appreciated.

The slots in the Frontier are about an inch lower than the Regent. So the harness will be outgrown sooner. BUT it converts into a nice tall booster with good SIP.

For the other three - are they RF or FF?

And you must post piccies of the Orbit when this is all done :)

DD3 is FF and DS2 is RF

haha I never even thought to take a picture of the Orbit installed. We have tons of pictures of DS in his Orbit but you cant see how its installed. OMG it is the EASIEST base to install EVER!!! (We have used Evenflos, Pegs, Graco Snugride, and Graco Safeseat between the kids and the only thing that was even remotely easy was the Peg but still difficult compared to the Orbit)

You might try a second Frontier for DD3 then. I'd want to find one to try in person for both kids though.

Another seat to look at would be the First Years/Compass True Fit. Really tall slots, nice side support, and it sits lower in the vehicle (so it's easier to get kids in/out).
