Question Help! What car seat to buy with what budget??

My DS just turned one and we are looking him a new car seat. We are looking at the Evenflo Triumph Advance as our first option because I have read good reviews about it. But the problem with that one is it is a little bulky for me because we may have to travel overseas with it. So im trying to look at something lighter.

Please help me figure out what is the best car seat to buy with a price range.

under $100??
$100 ~$150??
$150 up??

In the under $100 category, I would try to find a Safety 1st Uptown or the Safety 1st Avenue. They are $65 and $75, respectively. They are light, rearface to 35lbs and ff to 40lbs with tall harness slots. I have the Uptown and for the price, it is fantastic.

$100-150-Not a whole lot in this category that is good for traveling. The Triumph Advance is probably the nicest in this category.

$150+ The Sunshine Kids Radian is great because it folds up. It runs $189-199 and rfs to 35lbs, ff to 65lbs.

In the $150+ category, I'd add the Compass TrueFit and the Britax Marathon. They are fairly bulky, but they have seatbelt lock-offs which are really nice if you don't know what kind of vehicle you'll be installing in.
