How does TFwidth compare to Regent?

Does anyone know if the TF is narrower than the Regent? I like the Regent, but I LOATHE having to remove it from the car and re-installing it and I'd like something a little narrower so I could put it in the middle of my third row(lap-only and no headrest). It would be for my 41/2 yo DD. She is 40.5", 35#. I only need about 2yrs use out of the seat, then I will be comfortable using a booster for her. I just would like something that is a little more versatile as far as being able to move it to other spots in the car. We also have a 2yo so I could pass it down to her. TIA, Joy

the truefit is as wide as a Marathon, so narrower than the Regent.
Of course, a Frontier or Nautilus would work, too, but a Truefit does let you pass it down, so a great choice.

Thanks! If it is the same as a MA, that will work much better for us. I think the Regent was a bit overkill for us. It is just so big and sometimes I *have* to move that darn seat out of the 3rd row of our YukonXL and it is such a production. Do you know how heavy the TF is? I may have to go try one out!

according to the official website, it's 19.25lbs, so the same as the Marathon.

Remember, the top slots are the same as the Marathon. I was assuming she hadn't outgrown that yet.

Thanks for all of your help! I was able to find one to try out and we really like it. My daughter still fits in the MA, actually has another slot to go, but I wanted something without a base and she needs a little more shoulder room. We may be getting one from swap:)
