I hadn't completely understood the whole harness twisting issue and why the seat would have to be uninstalled in order to fix the harness until tonight...
I was organizing the carseats at work tonight after the store closed and realized there was a twist in the frontier, so decided to fix it. Problem was I knew it was twisted, but couldn't actually feel where the twist was. In the end I had to pop the bottom harness holder out of the shell and untwist it that way because I just couldn't get my fingers in to the hole far enough to feel which direction to untwist. How something that should've been so easy was so hard was pretty frustrating...
So anyways, it all the sudden makes sense to me why the straps sometimes can't be untwisted without uninstalling the seat. What a huge royal PITA. I'm sure with it being a display seat and all that I'm going to be getting lots of practice at untwisting the dang straps.
