Someone had once talked about using the belt behind the seat for a top tether. How do I do that.
the van is a 1995 dodge caravan.
it doesn't have locking belts. They only have one top tether hook and it is being used on the AOE (eddie bauer edition). She made the decision based on the info I gave her. The radian she is using performed better in crash tests without the top tether then the other seat. Plus the younger one is in the EB.
So the radian is STILL not tethered. They haven't gotten it done.
So what can I do to MAKE a tether to the back seat? Or can I hook under the seat to a solid bar? My gut says no but dad says it is fine. We have argued before. LOL
ETA: oh and pretend the seat isn't in. The bench seat behind the captains chairs. Cause they always take it out. Just not sure how to do this to the belt with the male end. Did I confuse you all yet? lol
