This is a pretty frivolous post, but I went to USA Baby tonight and decided to go with the Frontier. The salesperson was nice and brought the Frontier and the Nautilus to my DH's car backseat so I could see them both in place. That made it easy to decide between the 2 -- the Britax Frontier seemed to fit the backseat better and I also liked that the Britax sides were more open for my son to have room getting in and out than the Nautilus.
I'm OK with the price because we'll have it a long time and if DS outgrows it, DS#2 can use it too, so we can use it for its full life span.
And I decided on gray (Rushmore). It's not that exciting but that's OK. The red was cute but DH didn't want red.
DH drives a 2001 Acura TL. We haven't installed it yet but I'm sure DH can figure it out.
I kind of wanted to see the Regent in the car too, but the Frontier fit so nicely and I didn't want to make the saleslady drag the Regent from the way back of the store to my car and back when the Frontier looked like a very good choice.
So that's what DS will be riding to preschool in this fall. Yay! I'm done!
