Parkway - wait for sale or no point since discontinued?

Well, title says it all, really.

I was just wondering if, since the Parkway is discontinued and already marked down, it wouldn't be included in the next Britax sale.... anyone know how that works? I would think it probably wouldn't be included, but just checking. No rush to buy, I don't need it now, it would just be for carpooling during the school year.

I would try & snag one asap. If you look around @ the online baby stores that sell them, they are starting to become few & far between. Albee baby has a few. You can of course pay $200+ on ebay, lol.

I have considered that one, in fact I almost bought one a couple months ago, but I think I read somewhere that the side impact wings are deeper on the Parkway than on the Safe Voyage? I was looking for a booster with good side impact after seeing some of those videos about no wings vs shallow wings vs deep wings. The SIP wings are probably even better on the Monarch and such, but for carpooling maybe once or twice a month, I'm really can't afford to spend >$100 on a booster... sigh. I would be willing to go up to the 60 for the Parkway though if the SIP was significantly better.

I've been meaning to do some research and/or post over on the general board to try to make the final decision before school starts...

got cha - yeah - I think it's pretty similar - although I haven't lined them up. Another option - babycatalog.com has the vivo lite for $69 - which is pretty good - http://brands.babycatalog.com/Recaro-boosters.html
