Are all Radian carseat fabrics cool or is that only a Radian80 Supercool speical feature?

Hi,

I need to purchase a new Radian carseat but can't decide which one. Is the Radian80 Supercool the only Radian carseat with mesh fabric that will keep babies cool? How about the carseat fabric on the other Radian80 and Radian65? Has anyone had problems with keeping their babies cool in them? I am really looking for a carseat fabric that will keep my baby cool because he always sweats when he falls asleep in his Graco. Does any parent with a Radian65 have complaints about the fabric similar to the polyester fabric of many other infant carseats?

FWIW, my older DD rode in a Radian65 with a granite cover last summer until early August before we switched to a Radian80 with the Super Cool cover. She spent roughly equal time in each seat during the heat of the summer. She didn't sweat any more or less in either seat nor complain to me about either cover, and believe me she's the type who would let me know if she wasn't comfy.

I have seen others post about the mesh in their Super Cool cover snagging but we didn't experience this with ours. I believe Super Cool is the only Radian cover with the mesh material.

I'm pretty sure the design/profile of the seat helps keep them cooler than some seats. DS is much cooler in the granite radian 65 than he was in the snugride or is in the scenera. He does still sweat, but doesn't seem to get as hot if that makes sense?

Thanks for the info. I think I will go with the Radian 65 then.

Yes, i get it. I think I'll go with the Radian65. I'm sure it would be better than the Graco I currently have that's made of polyester. Thanks for the info.
