Here's my dilemma: We have one child, but we recently found out we're about to add two babies to the family rather than the expected +1.
Our vehicles: 04 Mini Cooper, 00 volkswagen Jetta.
I'm already set on getting a minivan for our primary car, as we'll need one vehicle that can carry the whole family.
The problem I'm trying to get my head around is the second car. I don't want to get two minivans. What vehicles should I consider, if I want to get something that will hold three kids at once, at least in a pinch?
The car seats are Graco Snugrides for the two infants and a Britax Marathon for the older child. Eventually we'd have 3 seats akin to the Britax, as my daughter won't graduate to a booster for quite a while.
I'm leaning toward getting a larger sedan rather than an SUV or, as mentioned, another minivan. Suggestions? I also don't want to spend more than about $5K or $6K, less if possible.
