Tell me what you think the best lightwight stroller is and why.

It needs to have storage, small fold and a sunshade.

The youngest child it will be used with is 18 months old.

ETA: this is not for me, it's for someone else. I wanted to print the thread for her.

I got this one when ds was born and i love it. It is nice and small and light. And a big plus it holds the infant seat also. That is why i got it. I was originally looking at universal carseat carriers, and this was on clearence so we picked it up. It also happened to be in the same pattern my safeseat was. I did end up getting a quatro tour also which i use for bigger trips. But this gets used ever week when ds and I go to swimming lessons, so it fits in the stalls and i can get dressed without him getting into trouble.

Maclaren Volo. Super sturdy, holds up to 55 lbs, yet super lightweight and folds very slim. I found one on clearance at Target this past year, but after using it I'd even pay full price. It's awesome! It has a sunshade and small basket. The back is fairly tallish, and something about the way it is shaped makes kids even be able to sleep in it by resting their head to the side, even though it doesn't recline.

I LOVE the Buggster. HUGE sunshade, great storage (basket holds way more than it looks like it could!), comes with a zip-in UV/insect net, rain cover, and boot, removable/adjustable bumper bar. Turns on a dime, super easy to push. Not sure how small the fold is considered. It's the smaller than all my AT strollers, so I consider it small enough. :)

peg P3. LOVE it. Bought it when dd was 5 mos and we were going to Disney. IMO it has all the amenities of a big stroller but folds down like an umbrella. It reclines, great canopy, small basket underneath. Folds down really well. LOVE ours.

I agree with eveything in this post. I found my Volo on clearance for $25 and I love it. I definitely would pay full price for another one if I needed it.
I love how lightweight it is.

DH's office has 4 stairs leading to the building from the parking lot and I was able to carry the stroller with DS3 in it up the stairs because the stroller is so light.

Me too for the Volo. I got mine on ebay, $72 (or close to that) including shipping. NEW. And both ds and I LOVE it!
