I have 4 seats to choose from.
MA, Radian, HB Turbo & Maxi cosi Cabrio.

My two kids are DD 5yrs and DS 7months.

Right now I am leaning towards the Cabrio and the Turbo booster for portability. We have a multi destination trip planned and as much as I would like DD harnessed The logistics of that isn't going to work. DS is going to be a lap baby on the flights (I know not at all ideal but I have international flights that don't allow them anyway!)

Does this set up seem ok. I know some of you die hards are going to go on about lap babies in airplanes I know the dangers.

I guess what I really want to know is DD at 5 Okay in a booster? She is experienced with it, and will always have an adult in the back with her to help remind her to sit up straight.

Since E is used to using a booster and will have an adult in the backseat, I think a booster would be fine if you are worried about bringing the Radian.

If N is still fitting in the infant seat, I would definitely bring that. :) It would be so much easier than the Marathon.

I was wondering how big your 5 year old DD is. My understanding (and hopefully someone will correct if I am wrong) is that there is a difference in terms of safety between a 42lb 5 year old in a booster and a 32lbs one.

E is 40lbs. A narrower booster would probably give a better fit for her, but she does fit the Turbo well with the head rest in the 3rd position.

I think your plan of the Cabrio and TB would work fine. My DD is the same age & just a few pounds lighter than your DD, and she actually fits really well in the TurboBooster...I liked the way the TB fits her better than the Parkway did.
Enjoy your traveling!
