Question anyone in Chicago/suburbs who can do a check?

I live in Oak Park and would like to get our seats checked by one of you, if possible. After all the horror stories about poorly trained techs, firefighters, etc, I am afraid to go to anyone else! I don't want to be told to turn my baby around or to put my 4-year-old in a booster. Does anyone here do individual checks? Or is anyone going to be staffing a seat check around here soon? TIA

There are are couple of people on here fom your area or close to it I believe. Hopefully they will see this.

I am just outside of Aurora.

There is a check at the Oak Park Fire Dept next weekend 7/20. I don't know anyone there, but I got the email about it from our regional coordinator and it says an instructor will be there during the checks as well, so you may be in luck.

As far as this weekend, this Sat I am working a check at the Babies R Us in Naperville from 10-2. There are also checks this sat in West Chicago and Crystal Lake, I think Naperville would be a better drive though right? I do do individual checks as well, I don't know if you are ever out my way. PM me is you are interested in coming to the check at BRU Sat. I don't really know any of the techs that are going to be there that day, so I can't say what quality they are :) I just got an email saying they needed help. But if you PM me I can give you my name and such so that if you come there you can ask for me :thumbsup:
