Radian ? I don't know if I can wait...

I am trying patiently to wait for the "new" Radian to come out but I am about to give in. In the mean time I had a few questions...
How well does the pillow work when used as a head rest for toddlers?
Is the fabric on the 80 a better quality or just different colors?
Would it be the same (pillow wise) to buy the 65 and then buy the pillows from Sunshine kids, or are they different pillows?
The seat will be installed pretty upright in DH's truck so I am trying to get avoid the head bobbing we have right now.

So many questions, just trying to pass the time waiting for August!!

The 80 is nicer fabric. It is plush, while the 65 is a micro suede fabric. The supercool is different, I've never seen one before. I think it is more meshy.

You can order the comfy soft (toddler pillow) from Sunshine Kids, but I don't know if the fabric is a perfect match.

There are little straps on the pillow that you tuck into the cover. I was skeptical, but it works well.

I have a granite now, but have had a super cool. I liked the super cool its more of one shade of gray (compared to gray & black) it was pretty soft still. the "meshy" part wasn't bad at all.

thanks for the info., I think we will go w/ the 80 for the plusher fabric. Do you think its worth waiting for the new model? I mean will the changes be that substantial? or do you think the older model might start going on sale when the new one comes out?
I really just want to buy it now but my sensible side is saying to wait.... I've picked my brand, model, fabric, now I want to buy!!!

My nephew loves his pillow!! It supports his head so well, he barely moves, He's RF though. It makes him sweaty when it's hot out, too.

I'd say wait for the new one, but I have been told by two people from SK that there was no "new" radian" (through e-mail) I have lost all hope for head wings, lol. I think it's just going to be little things, like the removable harness.
