Is there a car too old for tether installation?

DH is looking at a van next week that is early 90s. It's supposed to be in great shape and w/ wanting to sell the house, we're trying to avoid debt. lol Is there a car too old to put tether anchors in? We really only need 1 since Evan is only 21# and hopefilly we'll get a new one next year anyways.

Most vehicles can be retrofitted from 1989-on, but not all, and that includes vans. I would need specifics (make, model & year) to tell you about that vehicle.
