Yes, those were the ones! Great deal! I know my son has some funny feet and stride rites fit him nice. But, I refuse to pay 50.00 a pair of shoes like i did when his older brother was little!

I am a stride rite snob and only buy stride rite. i think they are the best :) I LOVE that I have a Stride Rite outlet not 30 minutes from my house! You guys should check to see if you have one near you! We just got ours a year or so ago, but I had been buying at the outlet in nashville (buying ahead when we went for visits to my mom's!) They often sell the shoes for halfprice. I dont think I have spend more than $20 on my son's shoes.. maybe $25 once.

We buy the ones with the construction on the sides. They're at least cuter than cheap walmart plastic ones. and they're leather.

I'm sorry but those are some fugly boy's shoes.
This one looks like it is an old man's orthopedic shoe.

OMG *snorts* it does! but that was the only one i thought was cute at first.

unfortunately i just helped the local economy by getting my son two pair of stride rites at a local shoe store. even with buy one get one half off i spent $80 after tax. never again, though i think i'll be a pretty loyal stride rite buyer.

Stride Rite are the best though for wide width. They are pretty much the only think that DS can wear becuase of his fat feet, lol.
I LOVE the outlet! The one here often has the same shoes (at the same time) as the regular retail store does but at half the price. At the first of the summer I bought 1 pair of tennies and 2 pairs of sandles for a little over $100.

My sons feet are also super fat - If you have a hard time finding shoes wide enough, also try New Balance. The only shoes my DS can fit into are Stride Rite and New Balance XW.
(He could only wear Stride Rite XXW until 8 months ago!)
