03 Town and Country, middle belt?

I have a 03 Chrysler Town and Country van. I babysit and will be adding one more to my group when school starts. My third row has 2 shoulder belts but the center is a lap only belt. Does anyone know if I can have a shoulder belt installed here instead to be able to use a 3 carseats or boosters in the third row?

Shoulderbelts generally cannot be retrofitted.

You should be able to install a harnessed carseat there though. I believe that spot has LATCH as well.

I don't believe you can. However, use that spot to install a harnessed carseat and use the outboard for boosters only. THat should work

Thanks. All my kids are above 40lbs so I would need to purchase a high weight harnessed carseat for that space. Any good inexpensive options?
I usually only have all the kids in the van to take/pick up my dd to/from school and when we go to the park.

Since there's a tether anchor for that position, you may want to consider something like a RSTV or 86Y harness. They can be used with lap only belts and are some what versatile and fit three across situations well.

Other good HWH options that may fit that space are the Graco Nautilus or Radian 65.
