Would you buy a True Fit for a 4 yo?

DD needs a new seat, she's outgrowing the Triumph. Dang short shell, I could kick myself for buying it, even though it has been a nice seat. She's about 33 lbs I think, 14 in torso. I like that it sits low on the base. The Nautilus didn't work and I've read too many issues about the Frontier that would bug me. I thought I had decided on the Radian, she has tons of growing room in that, but I hated the ginormous chest clip, and how you can't remove the harness. I don't even know if the TF one can be removed now that I think about it. Anyway, I know the Radian is rumored to have some changes, but who knows when that will be and I can't wait anymore. So someone tell me that they love their TF and it isn't stupid to purchase for a 4 yo. She just sleeps in the car so much still. If it wasn't for that I would've kept the Nautilus.

I would, that was one of the seats I was debating when I was in between seats but it wasn't released yet. I think you would get a few years out of it. You might have to buy another, like the Regent, if you still want her harnessed after. Or a booster. But for 2-3 yrs use I would have done it.

Yep. I bought one for my 5.5yo (and one for my 3yo). But my kids are really tiny- see my siggie- and my 5.5yo has TONS of growing room, even on the 3rd harness slots. I like how it doesn't sit up on a base, too. It looks more babyish than the Nautilus, Frontier or Regent, but I like the side impact protection that it provides and the Frontier doesn't install w/seatbelt in my vehicle.

once i installed it - i could move it to the 2nd slot from the top - her shoulders are about 1/2" below that slot and there is still another slot to grow into - hope this helps!
