Question 3 radian 65/80 in 2005 Saturn Relay

Hi,
I am so sorry if this is a repeat, but I could not find anything while I searched the threads. Here is my problem.

I have 8 1/2 month olds triplets who are going to need new car seats very soon. If I can get all three on back bench seat I would go Radian 65 or 80. Is this even possible for my minivan? If not I was thinking two back bench and then one in captain chair and going for Britax Marathons or the like. Or should I stay with the Radian? What about cheaper seats? Money is definitely tight with triplets, but I want something that will pay off in the long run. I would really appreciate any advice - I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the choices!

What vehicle do you have?

Radians are your best bet for 3 accross and you would definetly get your moneys worth but they do have install issues in some vehicles.

What seats are they in now and are you able to get 3 accross the back bench now?

I have a 2005 Saturn Relay. I have all three in Graco Snugrides. i have two on back bench and one in second row captains chair. I would like to see if the Radians would fit al on back bench.

You may still want to have one seat on a captains chair. Since you would need to have all three seats rear-facing you will probably run into trouble when you need to buckle your kids in (unless you do it through the back hatch). Just something to think about:)

Well my DH and I settled that we would not try to get three across. Especially since getting them in rear facing is going to be hard enough, nevermind not having any room to tighten the straps. We bought 3 Britax Marathons at the Navy Exchange while they were on sale thanks to a tip from someone on this forum! Thanks for the great tip - saved us $100 per seat!!
