Marathon Babies

Okay - this is the loaner Marathon - you can see where the strap is busted right above the buckle. And yes, I didn't put the belly pad up on him - oops.

First, this is my son Boo in the Marathon. The straps are at a good height for him here, and he's got LOTS of growing room left too. He is 3 1/2 years old, 37 pounds, and 41" (all approximate of course)

Okay, and now for my daughter - Bug. The straps are too high, but I couldn't see how to move them and I'm too lazy to look it up just for the sake of photos right now.

She is 18 months old, 25 pounds, 32" (again - all approximate)

(The last photo shows her way of signing "I love you" to me)

If that seat has not expired, you could purchase a new harness from Britax.

The actual owner of the seat is doing so. She only lent this to us so we could determine if it would fit in our car (1999 Cavalier), and to let me get a feel for the installation.

Not only that, but she said she'd have Britax send the straps here. So, we'll possibly have both kids in Marathons for a little while until we need to return the seat to its owner.

They both seem to fit pretty well! Now to get your installation issues taken care of....

edit: BTW, you don't HAVE to use the belly pad, I don't even know where ours is! LOL

I just wanted to add that your kids are cuties and I LOVE baby signs! I taught my dd just a few when she was about 1 and she still uses them w/o even thinking about it, she just turned 2. Like she'll say and sign when she wants "milk" or "more", I think it's adorable!

thanks.

They actually don't look too bad for neither one of them feeling well, do they ?
Both have kind of weird expressions though

What caused the strap to break? i missed that post. :)

I have to agree with the rest of you and say they are absolutely adorable. The MA's coloring suites them well. :)

Never mind i found it! Sorry, rough week and i messed up my hand so now typing difficult!

Your kids are still cute. How the heck do you get them to look at the camera? Mine always are looking past it or at the wall. Its strange b/c i'm an amature photographer who has done loads of baby photos but i cant get my own to cooperate.

Just lucky I guess - they both love to ham it up for the camera. Sometimes that makes getting good pictures hard though - they want to play, not just look natural.

LOL I kwym! Gregory is incapable of smiling naturally if he knows there's a camera in the room. So we get really goofy faces or super serious ones. LOL

At least you are getting photos of their faces. The few i've gotten of alex she's smiling with this insane look and she looks like shes about to eat you (family smile, they all have very 'gummy smiles' so as kids they look creepy when they smile. DF has it too but has master hiding it in pictures. thank god.) I'll have to upload the only photo i have of her looking at the camera to show you how demonic she looks!
