grrr...Chrysler gen3 seatbelts

well, anyone have any ideas to make me feel better about this? My Jeep is one of the many with the Gen3 seatbelts, and dh suggested waitng until I'm no longer driving the Jeep to have the Gen4's installed so he wouldn't have to put the plastic housing back on.

How much will it cost to have them replaced?

This is the main reason I told dh we couldn't consider these makes of vehicles, I was so afraid of the Gen3 belts.

I have no idea how much it will cost, but I don't think it matters, kwim? It just really made me mad that dh was more concerned with the plastic housing that we had to remove to be able to get all 3 seats across the back of the Jeep.

Yeah, I KWYM. Such a cosmetic issue shouldn't even come into play, all things considered.
