I am getting a little ticked off. Let me tell you what happened.

A few weeks ago, I purchased a Regent from a company. I have done business with them before. They are close, so I usually get everything within a day or two. No problems, got it quickly. Didn't take it out of the box right away (I know! Shocking!). 7 yo ds was hospitalized. He got out of the hospital and I finally unboxed it. I played with the seat, and noticed that the clip on the back was broken. Right side buckle does not "click" either. I call them. They say they will call back. And they didn't.

Now here we are, three weeks later. I have called, I have emailed. I have this seat sitting in the box. Now I don't know what to do. I wanted to exchange it, but since they didn't get back to me and I HAD to have a seat for him I ordered what I needed from elsewhere.

What should I do now? I'm really ticked off, I can't afford to eat this money. Suggestions? Call Britax? Send it back and demand a refund? Any other ideas?

Some of the britax buckles only click when the second tongue is inserted---doesn't matter which side you put in first. Since February-ish, they've started using 2 click buckles because people didn't like the 1 click.

What do you mean about the clip on back being broken? Are you referring to the top tether? If so...I'd contact Britax directly about that.

No, there is a little plastic clip where the elastic goes on to keep the cover on. That clip is broken. The cover will NOT stay on.

I had a Regent (back when it was a Husky) and I didn't remember it having one click, so it concerned me. If it's normal, that's no big deal, but we still have the problem of the cover not staying on and that it won't fit in my car. It sincerely shouldn't be that big of a deal to return it. Only they won't flippin' call me back. And I can't sell it like this, either.
