The crotch strap is a little under him on the farthest setting, is this ok? If not, may have to retun. :(

I still have to put it in the car, so we'll see if it changes how he fits.

I'd click the headrest down as far as you can without touching the top of the harness. It should be comfier for him and provide better SIP.

So exciting to get new seats, isn't it :p I love it :D

I do have it down now, I put it up to get good pics of the harness, but forgot to put it back on the last one. It was like Christmas at my house today. :D

He looks great, and comfy! He must be leggy, because he fits in it the same as my short-but-leggy 7YO DS. DS is about 47" and 48lbs, with about a 16" torso. (Can you tell he's wiggly, with all those "abouts"?)

Installed it today, checked it out. In the recline mode, he's at the top slots, but without recline, he's just above the 2nd to top slots. I moved his harness up to the top slots. I really like it, but it's kinda taking up the back seat with the Tribute next to it. I don't really take passengers much in the back, so it should be ok.

I love it, can't wait to come play with it tomorrow! Congrats on the new seat (totally understand the excitement). I have experienced the same thing re: recline; the more reclined a seat is, the more my dd seems to "spread up and out" the seatback, but if it is more upright, her body settles down a bit more, giving her more height room.
