*UPDATED WITH INFO*****Need Booster help please

Remind me about booster use? This will be my first time to try it.

The shoulder belt guide needs to be just above her shoulder? Headrest squarely behind her head, and I can lock the seatbelt, right? Anything else to know?

She's 38 ish lbs and almost 5 yo.

You got the fit right, did you try it in your car first just to play?
I'm kind of worried three boosters won't fit across the back of an Ody  Some super narrow ones (three FP's, maybe, but usually better something harnessed) might, but the Compass is a bit beastly next to other seats
Signo third row outboard (it slides *really* far sideways, next to the wall of the car) might work, though, with two narrowish boosters or the other harnessed seat and a booster.

She'll think I'm nuts if I ask to go over there and play with carseats.

The compass went in really well and was really solid with her in it and I got the fit right. She was pretty comfortable too.

I am a bit worried about how we're going to fit things.

My fingers are crossed for you. And yeah, fear of looking nuts has stopped me from begging most of my friends to borrow their cars ;)

Oh, yeah, the Compass in the third row of an Ody, three-across, is not something I'd count on. :( The Compass booster just does not play well with others.

I had to play with five different boosters and two different harnessed seats for 2.5 hours the other day in order to find a workable three-across for an upcoming zoo trip with a friend and her two kids. Sometimes it's really necessary to do a trial run with the seats, especially when every rear seating position needs to be filled with kids/carseats.

What other seats are being used? If you don't know, can you find out? Does the center of the third row have a shoulderbelt?

Its a 2002 Odyssey and she has no idea what the names of her seats are.

She said she will just plan on putting DD in the 2nd row captains chair. Her 3yo ds is in the other captains chair .

I don't want to spook her, but she has no idea how hard 3 boosters across the 3rd row might be. And I'd guess they're Turboboosters from Walmart for her DD's ( 5 and 6).

What do I do? Pursue it and let her know it might be really hard?

So she'll have your dd in one of the captain's chairs, her 3yo in the other captain's chair, her 5yo and 6yo in the third row in (probably TurboBoosters) boosters, and one other child in a booster in the third row?

I might encourage her to think about possibly needing to put her 3yo in a harness in the third row, if three boosters across isn't do-able. Without knowing what seats they are, it'll be hard to say what will/won't fit.
