Regent in 2000 Mazda Protege - PICS
Well, I must say that I am surprised - my 7 yo's Regent is a better fit in our Protege than in the captain's chair of our van! Granted, it has never been an easy installation in my 2005 Odyssey, but I have never tried it in the smaller car before and was quite surprised at how easy it was to install and just how well it fits. There is no way to get 3 across with it in there, but its fine with just the Regent and my 4 yo's Wizard. It is installed short belt path with recline bar and tethered. It doesn't sit up any higher than the Wizard. It fits so well that I haven't bothered to move it back to the Ody yet, so we have been using the Nautilus in there instead.
