I need help! My DD snuck (sp?) a crayon into her purse LOL and wrote on DS harness. How do I get it off? The only way I know to get crayon out of material is with an iron-and I can't do that to a harness. Any suggestions?

Elbow Grease. Oh yeah, and a damp washcloth with a bit of diluted dish or laundry soap. But mostly the Elbow Grease (it's a miracle product, I tell ya!).

Just kidding ;)

Really, just wipe as best as you can, and don't expect pristine perfection, you don't want to damage the fibers trying to get anything ground-in out. If you're lucky, it'll wear off over time, or get hidden by the next big stain...

;):)

Back in the day when I had A in an overhead shield, she colored with crayon all over the pad to the shield. It was lovely, really  Did fade away over time though if that is any consolation :D

not sure if this is allowed but what about blow drying it a bit, not too long. I would think it wouldn't get hotter than the car in the summer in some areas.

I hadn't thought about using another source of heat to warm it. When a candle warmer got spilled all over my carpet, my sister taught me to place a cloth over it and put a warm iron over it. The wax transfers and voila-clean carpet
