C in Graco Nautilus. Fit? (PICS)

Ran to BRU tonight and checked out how DD fit in the Graco Nautilus. She is about 1 inch under the second from bottom slots. (No infant insert) Also, she is on the innermost crotch strap setting. 34 lbs, 33.5 inches, 22 months old.

I thought it looked REALLY nice and on their bench in recline mode, it looked like we wouldn't have much if any head bobble.

It was funny, she immediently started trying to put something in the cupholder.

Tell me what you think.

Me personally, I think that the True Fit is going to have to be really wonderful to beat this.

"Yeah, the manual is really interesting, Mom."

She was leaning forward, with her head back, the wings almost completely surround it.

Looks good to me...but check the crotch strap position again. The manual says it's not supposed to be under the child. It could just be the way it looks in the pic.

I'd buy that.

my only concern would be your tentative plan to fit three across in a sedan. If that's out the window, looks great. :)

Thanks, It does look like it in the picture, I will have to recheck it later.

LOL, that plan is out the window at least for selling our van. DH is thinking about getting a sedan for his truck so that way we will something really good on gas for his commute, that can hold all of us, and be good for really long trips. I have 2 radians for that. At least our overall gas cost will go down that way.

Yeah, I am really sold on the GN, I already ordered a TF but I might just have to post it on swap when it gets here.

Thanks, everyone.

What happens when it's under them on the outer position though? Would you have to get another seat? We don't have that problem yet, and probably won't for a while.. but I have wondered it.

The crotch strap cannot be under the child rule only applies to the innermost crotch strap setting. They can go over the farther setting.
