I just about choked at what I just heard on Doctor in the House. I wish I had DVR so I could rewind it and hear it again. I swear I just heard the doctor dude who came to talk about safety answer a "WWYD 20 lb kid, 9 months old" question with "I would go with front facing"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He had just finished saying that obviously car crashes are very very dangerous and happen a lot and that you need a carseat, and that babies under a year and 20 lb go in rear facing seats, between 20 lb and 40 lb they go in front facing seats, and that after 40 lb they go in a booster to 80 lb. I have just lost all faith in this show.
I really have enjoyed it up till now (except when a lady calling in asked about caring for her son's un-circ'ed penis and after saying she should pull back the foreskin and clean it well with soap - which I think you are not supposed to do until they are older because it is attached the first few years and soap irritates it - I *think* I heard the regular doc make a snide comment about how she should have circ'ed him to begin with!).
