Bit Lots Uptown DOM

I'm sending my mother off to Big Lots to see if she can get her hands on the $65 Uptown (there's NO Big Lots anywhere near us) can someone who bought one tell me fairly accurately where to look for the DOM on the box. Without specific instructions she's not going to have any clue what to look for.

I don't think the DOM is on the box. At least it wasn't on the outside of mine.

The sticker with the DOM is white and is located midway down on the side of the shell.

ETA: My DOM was 4/15/08.

Yeah, the Dom is not on the box but mine did have a big lots scanning sticker that said 5/23/08 and the dom was 5/02/08.

Cool, so it seems they're mostly 2008 DOMs. That bodes well. Really, for $65 even losing a year on it's life wouldn't be a big deal.

I just picked one up today and it was a 4/15/08 DOM, IIRC. The only thing I could find on the outside was a printed number about and inch high in black stamp that ended in 2008. The other numbers/letters didn't make any sense, though. Looking at others, it looks like the seat should be from this year.

Tell, me I don't need an uptown. How much growing room does the uptown have compared to the scenera again?

We got one with an April 2008 DOM also - no date on the box, though. The cool thing is that it has a "Do not use after" date of December 2016. I don't know why that excites me seeing as there's not much chance we'll be using it longer than about 2-3 years.

From what I measured, the Uptown shell height is 2" more than the Scenera, the top harness height is about an inch.
