I have to plan ahead a little bit for next year so I can sock away some cash if I need more seats. I will be in a 5 person carpool for ds' school. He is 3 and all the rest are 4-5 years old.
Currently in the car I have 2 nautiluses, and one compass b-510 booster. I also have in my possession 2 additional turboboosters and a platinum cargo.
I have a 2001 chevy venture with bench seat in the middle. The middle position of the way back is a lap-only belt. The middle position of the second row is a larger width seat, so I could put the compass booster there and still fit a nautilus next to it with no problem. In the back the compass will be too wide.
My initial thought is to put one of the nautilus in the back middle row, but then probably I'll have to buy narrower boosters for the sides. Does such a thing exist?
All the carpool kids other than my own son are over 45 lbs. It's less than a mile to the school, and they ride in their own vehicles in low-back boosters (which will NOT be the case in mine). I am providing the other carpool families who don't have harnessed seats with one for my son.
Any thoughts on which boosters to put in the way back, or if there is another good option? I've had the SKR and am willing to use one, but have not had great luck with the harness adjusters, etc. But I am willing to go that route if necessary.
