Question planning entirely too far ahead

OK, We now have DS's Frontier installed and love it so far:D. DS also has a Regent.

DD is in a DC and BV, the DC expires in Apr 2012. She will be 4 1/2 then. I plan to move her to the Regent at that point in one vehicle (and still have her BV in the other).

DS will then have the Frontier and I am thinking, at 6 1/2, he will be ready for an actual booster in the other vehicle - is that a reasonable assumption? He is average (50%) weight and above average (75%) height. He has stayed on this curve quite steadily.

DD will be 6 (and 1/4 lol) when the Regent and BV expire. Right now she is on the small side (10%) but I think she is getting closer to average, she should jump to a higher growth curve (maybe 25%) at our next ped. visit as she is finally filling out more. At that age, she could take the Frontier if need be, and I am thinking she too could go into a booster in the lesser used vehicle. Even if she is on the small side, if she is mature enough to sit properly, will it be OK? (Assuming she meets minimum weights of course.)

Is it sad that I have this all written out with dates and ages?

The good (financial anyway) news is that we will not be buying any more car seats for quite some time....except it is FUN to shop, darnit! I have spent a lot of time over the last several months obsessing over car seats, and am going to try to make myself take a break...we shall see how well that works, though.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Just enjoy what you have now and wait to see if something else *amazing* and *wonderful* (seats really do keep getting better) comes out sometime in the near future so you'll get to shop again. You'll see how you feel about uh/harnessing when the time comes

:)
